Rowan County Agencies Join AHC

(High Point, NC, December 9, 2008) Effective January 1, 2009, Advanced Home Care, a Triad-based home care company that specializes in providing a full range of home health services and medical equipment, will be merging with Rowan Regional Home Health and Rowan Medical Facilities, a home medical equipment company.
Rowan Regional Home Health, a division of Rowan Regional Medical Center, provides skilled services to patients in Rowan, Cabarrus, and several other surrounding counties. Rowan Medical Facilities, founded in 1984, offers a full range of equipment and supplies to patients in these same locations. This merger will allow Advanced Home Care to provide skilled nursing, therapy, social work, home health aide, and infusion services to patients in this area in a more efficient manner.
Novant Health, along with other healthcare organizations, is part owner of Advanced, which is one of the largest privately owned home health agencies in the nation providing home care services and medical equipment to patients all over North Carolina.

Advanced Home Care's senior leadership team, as well as representatives of Rowan Home Health and Rowan Medical Facilities, is working diligently to ensure that the changes will result in a smooth transition and that patients experience no disruptions in service as a result of the merger.
