AHC Receives National Recognition

(High Point, NC, November 9, 2009) Outcome Concept Systems (OCS), a Seattle-based information company, released its list of the HomeCare Elite for 2009, a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health care providers in the nation, at this year's National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, CA. Those that made the rank were selected out of over 8,000 home health agencies throughout the United States.
Advanced Home Care is privileged to have four of its home health locations in the HomeCare Elite. This is the third consecutive year that Advanced Home Care has made the list. The following Advanced Home Care branches were selected as part of the 2009 HomeCare Elite: Burlington, Charlotte, Concord, and Gastonia.
To make this distinguished rank, home health agencies are scored by OCS in the following areas: quality of care, quality improvement, and financial performance. The data from these three categories was collected from April 2007 through December 2008 for each agency. This annual review identifies the top 25 percent of home health agencies in the nation.
