As a not for profit home health care provider, it is our vision to operate as a vital part of the continuum of care in the communities we serve. As part of this vision, Advanced Home Care is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to all of our patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
In keeping with this commitment, in 2008, Advanced Home Care provided over $15.5 million of community benefit within our three-state service area of North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. This community benefit includes uncompensated care, corporate and employee donations, and volunteer activities that contributed to the health and welfare of these communities.
Advanced Home Care is committed to being a great corporate citizen by promoting both company and employee charitable giving and volunteerism. Our employees also donated over 4,000 hours of their personal time, participating in volunteer work to benefit the community in 2008.
