Apnea Management
The goal of our Apnea Management Program is to assist the primary physician in making safe decisions regarding length of monitoring, treatment, and evaluation of infants who are at increased risk for recurrent apnea, bradycardia, ALTE, GE reflux, BPD and SIDS. This is accomplished by using state of the art monitoring equipment, qualified team members and the expertise of an Apnea Specialist. With good parental compliance, our Apnea Specialist can analyze data to help you determine when to safely discharge your patient from our program.
Our program provides:
- Monthly and PRN download of apnea monitor.
- An Alarm Summary Review analysis and expert physician's interpretation of event waveform data downloaded from the monitor.
- Support and follow up with the patient's family to ensure compliance.
